Drop Eye

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have read that they tend to jump for food... but the incidents I have seen reported have been smaller tanks 180's etc.

yeah, aros jump for food. in the amazon they eat small monkeys (not kidding i saw it on Animal Planet).

For drop eye, ive heard that a balanced diet with most of the food being floating will help fight it off. I also dont see how it couldnt be genetics. If silvers as a species were prone to it they would not have survived as long as they have (natural selection). This seems to be the only logical explanation as to why blacks, jardinis, leichardi, and formosas dont get drop eye nearly as often.

8x3x3= 530gal...

and if that tank is actually 3 feet tall then it looks like it is only about 2ft wide...

which would make it a 360gal...

WRONG ! tenecor tanks have a built in wet dry system . the total volume is 530 gallons , actual surface swiming area is 400 . i guess seeing is beliveing right ? here ya go .
