Nice, they will be moving with the arapaima eventually? Seems the the rare cases of silvers that don't have DE are raised in larger tanks.

Mine are in need of an ungrade, two 26~27" silvers in a 180g (6x2x2') is quite cramped.

Nah, i am planning a pond for the paimas, RTCs and gars.... building a mega tank like arapaimag's is not in my budget ^^ The outdoor tank is to be inherited by 3 silvers, jar and ray (it would be OK for them for life i think) ... gotta think of how to cover it though lol

I heard one myth of DE is also by feeding them foods that sink to the bottom. It helps by feeding them foods that stay on the surface
