As a matter of fact, chester dropped a double wide drop-in freezer at my house yesterday- so the original is put on hold officially now, in favor of this one

obviously its a way better starting point!

Put some glass on it, bust a hole in the wall, put it in the hole and fill it up with those loaches.

Those loaches, are cute and funny but most of all sickly- He is still re-cycling the 100g and its 50g sump after finally putting them into hospice care- the only fun theyre allowed now is whatever the ronald mcdonald house donates to their lame asses- if he wastes this 48"x37"x28"(I.D.)- 215g beautiful footprint tank on those loaches- I will personally take his remaining GALLON of RidIch and put it sideways up his asspipe after inserting each loach up there- those loaches are more riddled with disease than a 70 year old, two tooth having, glass eyed, crack smoking, cigar whore with a limp!.... Well to be honest, as bad as that sounds, chesters sister really is well worth the cigar!

Any suggestions? Chet said that theyre made to hold a ton of weight- but thats on the original bottom, which is now the back wall-
These things are made from a rigid sheet of stainless steel( I dont know the gauge off hand) and inside is a very strong plastic polymer type thing with some flex- it wont break but it bends if forced-and in between the two of those materials, a very very dense foam was pumped in-
So I think the biggest hurdle might be mounting(heheh mounting)the inner frame for the window securely enough, especially considering the materials that it will be attached to(sheet steel, foam, and plastic) and what is to to be held in place by it (a watertight window and outer window frame)
I dont think I trust epoxy alone- maybe allthread rods run from front to back through the foam- the outer window frame could also then be bolted into the mix too

there is no way that the loaches are goin in any of these tanks.. mostly because 90% of them are in the freezer...

i dont know whats goin in this tank.. but progress is either going to be instant or nonexistant till summer is over and i have time to do something with it..
