in years im 30... jims almost 40... however mentaly im somewhere around 15 (stuck on boobs and farts) jims about 9 (stuck on farts and swear words)...
the freezer box is a go... it got set up lastnight.. its sitting on 6 cement blocks on my patio.. the bottom drain has been sealed (for now).. its full of water with a heater.. has a few goldfish testing it to see if it leaches anything toxic.. if they make it till friday they will be joined by guppies and if they make it overnight im calling it good and adding the unnamed monster.. for now filtration is just a ac110 with some dead used media (insatant ammonia) as well as some scrubbies out of my sump.. its holding at .5ppm ammonia with nothing else as of 5pm this evening.. as it sits right now its got water filling roughly 48x28x22 (128 gallons)..
right now the plan is to keep a single fish there for a few weeks till he is rehomed after that... i dont think its going to do much till spring because i hate having a high electrical bill... but who knows..
heres some crappy laptop/webcam shots
covered with some plywood and a plastic/rubber backed blanket.. notice the fancy electrical
theres a big opening in the front as well as the top.. at some point the plan is to lay this sucker down making the front the top.. for now though its a great pond..
heres the other "pond".. its a glass 60 with a ton of frog bit, duck weed, water cabbage and some other plant i cant remember the name of... theres also a ton of guppies that were too pretty to use as feeders as well as a bunch of mollies, platties and cherry shrimp.. the snail population has really really droped since i pulled out all the gravel and added something other than a UV filter for filtration... this tank gets a water change MAYBE once ever 3 months..
-yes thats a blown tire in a bag
-no thats not "the bucket"
-all the plants in the pots are dead.. if its in water it grows great.. if its in dirt the dogs pee on it and it dies in a month..
-theres a LOT more clutter on the patio that you cant see.. most of it is fish related
-yes i will be adding more filtration but im in no rush
