here in beautiful socal its been in the 50s-60s all day and 30s at night... the water stays between 76-80 with its 300w heater.. some driftwood as well as a few more plants have been added.. fred GARvin still has a broken back and may get put down soon since hes not eating very well and all movements... well.. hes got a broken friggin back so he looks like crap.. he also has a horrific "L" shape...

A freezer isn't a bad idea. Water tight and they are insulated. So it would take much less to keep it heated.
