How about the dovii in Lake Arenal in NIcaragua? The lake is manmade, and the dovii were stocked into it. Wild or not? Hahaha!

I am just saying it is difficult to say I have a wild Nic dovi, but it was spawned in a ditch in Florida. So now it is a wild Florida Dovi, right?

If you really want to get picky, the canals are all man made. . . does that make all of the "natural" fish in the area that live in those canals NOT wild? Just sayin

I will definitely have my camera, and, I will be gunning for the monster Dovii on hook and line, if that fails, then I get in the water with a net

Hope you catch some, I have some babies growing in a private lake in Mexico.

Then when I bring them back, they will be legal immigrants, they were born in Texas but rasied in Mexico.

If you catch a fish in a canal, near a fish farm, not in the country of origin. Is that really a "wild" fish.

I would say yes.If the fish came from the farm one way or another,they are now introduced and wild.Does'nt matter if they are native or not.
