That should be okay for a while, but the 5' length makes it not okay permanantly. I think at LEAST a 6' or even better 8' tank would be required. The 3' width means it will last you a couple years though.

'God' wont make him grow. Water quality, tank space, food, and the water change schedule will determine his overall length.
