lol'd what did you do? kill aro? break tank?

<<<<<< :D they only grow to the size tank they're in anyway, so it's still there.

is that legit dude lol for real ? :)

Over the years I have done so many dumb things it would be hard to put a finger on. Within the last week I tried putting 190 gallons into a 180 gallon tank when I was testing it's ability to hold water lol. And that is just the most recent of many small overfills and a couple very large ones on other tanks.

mine was a beginner mistake and that was having 2 oscars in a 20g. i knew i would have to upgrade but didn't realize how fast they grew. but i still have one because when i moved them the other one killed it. but now he is happy in a 100g with 2 other oscar but they will be getting a 180g soon.

But i hope that got is not serious about the aro, cause that is cruel.:irked:

dumbest thing i did was a few years ago. . . it was a hot summer in the U.K. and was busy with work and i forgot to empty ny bin and it room was getting smelly. the windows in the house was all open and there was a nice summery breeze circulating in the room. . . couldnt stand the smell of my fowl smelling room so i got a can of air freshener and sprayed it everywhere to get rid of the smell and some made its way into my aquarium. within half an hour 16 of my clown loaches died, some angels and a shoal of rummy nose tetras were wiped out. . . i was devistated and since that day onwards i never spray anything near my aquariums ever again. im still gutted to this very day cos i always wonder if they hadnt died, what would they of looked like now?

I stuck the hose in my 110 gallon tank that's in my garage. Told myself to remember to turn it off and of coarse I forgot. An hour later my whole garage and everything in it was flooded. water was even coming out the front door and down the drive way. good thing the hose wasn't turned up too high.

I don't know how many heaters I have destroyed by either leaving them on when draining a tank or plugging in with a heater out of the water but it's at least six in ten years. A results of too many tanks, plugs and wires - be fine if I wasn't so untidy with them. I do go just from tank to 4-way socket but it still happens!

My best one was when I knocked the canopy of one of my marine tanks and a lit double T5 light detatched from it's mounting and fell into the water. Fizz, pop, hiss, clunk went the breaker. Worst thing was I had to stop myself grabbing for it  - salt water -

I have RCD's on every tank!
