This tank took ma a while to figure out, like maybe 2 months i've been working on it between figuring out the materials and fixing leaks. And at last here it is finished. I used the same technique like for DYI tank backgrounds. For the build I used styrofoam and then coated it with grout mixed with white cement. ( I had pix of those stages but can't find them now, if I do I'll post them later) Then i painted it with acrylic paints to get the look of stone and in the end used some kind of acrylic lacquer sealant to waterproof it all. Well anyways here are the pix of the finished tank.

Wow I didn't think people would view the thread so fast sorry for the delay :) Ok this set of pix is the tank finished and filled with water for testing. The second pic is a pic of the waterfall running, you can't really see it well on the picture, but it's a very quiet streamlike waterfall, I didn't want anything too noisy

And here is whats in it, my siamese fighter new home. :D You will notice that there is a waterproof LED light stripe going all around the rim and I placed a couple of photos plants on the sides. Those will hopefully grow back and forth on the sides of the tank and I also plan on getting some more plants and moss patches to place on some parts to give it a more natural look.

Best Betta tank ever, it has so much potential, take out the marbles and colored gravel IMO, and get some more natural stone/sand combination, add some plants in the Betta tank, and the moss on the outside Would be awesome.

Ding ding ding we have a winner kevinfleming21 ur right it's a betta tank :)
The size is roughly 55cm long 45 cm wide and 25 cm high, it's a bit tough to give exact measurments cuz it's a bit unevenly shaped. And in inches that would be 22"x18''x10" overall size. The water filled part on the inside is 42cm X 30cm X 20 cm plus the waterfall part and the pump/filter area so that would roughly make 26 liters or around 7 gallons
