Yes I'm also planing to get a bit of sand and some algae covered rocks from my other glass tank and put on the bottom. I'll also try to get some anubias plant to go in the water. The moss should also be able to get a hold on the tank edges and with daily misting would grow nicely

It's a regular Betta splendens nothing fancy like a crowntail or halfmoon, we don't get those over here. And yes this tank is designed for breeding if I manage to get some females cuz also we rarely get female bettas here. I have an extra glass panel that goes in the middle right in that split rock in the middle of the tank that divides the tank in two so one end would b for the male and the other end for the female untill he builds the nest and she starts showing bars and then the glass divider will be removed so they can get it on :D
 
Awesome effort. I love the natural look you managed sculpting the styrofoam. Is it a glass tank with the sculpted shell or only a glass front?

Bettas are lovely to own, I have a couple of splendas. The threatening lion-face they do and the way they lounge about on plants like a couch!
