Thank you all for the comments, I have found the pictures of the tank before the painting. In the first pic you can see it without the waterfall part mounted. This is only few layers of grout over the styrofoam. The whole tank is made from styrofoam and the viewing glass panel is siliconed later on in the process.

I'm new around here and to forums in general so I'm not sure if it's in specific cases, but it seems like it's kinda frowned upon to post on old threads, but this is seriously so cool that I had to say something! I'm curious as to what you used for powering the waterfall feature if this isn't too old to get a response.

I think a YouTube tutorial for your styro build process would be a hit. Looks great. Most styro builds I've seen don't look natural at all, but you nailed it.
