The feeling I'm getting is that gar might attack him as well cause they are almost thrice his size and his an ear slider I live in india and there arena variety turtle here and no online pet store as well and native species are banned

Now im scared my fish store from which i was going to buy lied about the size and i got a small turtle new born baby instead 2.5 inch and he really might get feasted on now!!!!!!!!! Im even afraid to think how will i keep it .it will die in one bite

I’ve never kept gar so don’t know what they’re like, do you have a spare tank to grow him out
