I watched it all, very sad to see the way animals are treated. Hope it can gradually be fixed by education. You're only 15? I have finally found someone younger than me!

Humans suck? this is horrible? we can do better?
without most of this stuff, we wouldnt be here today. with all the testing it takes to create a vaccine and such.
how would people have made it through cold winters without furr back in the stone ages thorugh 1800's? lets say... they wouldnt. so the traditions carry on.
we've all had a hamburger. and most enjoyed it. Im sorry. but theres no real "humane" way to kill an animal meant for food. Shoot it, slit its throught, knock it out with a sledge hammer. do what you gatta do. we have to eat too right?
im not going any further. its just a waste of time...

I agree that many great advances have come from it. But along with that are NUMEROUS laws broken, so many of those facilities have been raided and found guilty of cruelty. Its not the testing, its how they are treated when off the operating table. Its pretty lame when they can't even live up to the governments low standards.
Yes, they could not have survived without fur back then. Its not for surivial anymore, and its surely not "traditional." Thousands of animals crammed into cages in factory-esque facilties falls short of being traditional, no? They didn't have modern day brutality devices either...
There are humane ways of slaughter, for starters the factory can replaced with free roam environments. The bored employees who take out their rage on helpless animals can be replaced. The method in which animals are stunned can be revised so that it works each time. We have to eat? No we don't have to eat meat on such a large scale...the government wants to curb obesity, heart disease, diabetes...yet we pump out more meat than any other nation.
PETA takes this stuff and brings everyone down to the level of the slaughterers. When people view videos like this, they often turn to an organization against it. PETA and the HSUS are not the people to turn to. Do a little research and see what they are really up to, because its just as bad as what you see in the video. And worse is the principle of it. Its all about the money now. Money, money, money...
