Easy to find natives?

I keep the smaller species, obesus, orange spots, dollars, blue spots,black banded, punkin seed. They all stay under 6 inches. they are semi aggressive, not too bad. also keep darters which are kewl but different to keep than sunfish varietys. You can get most online or from hobbyist willing to trade.

Would I be able to find pumkinseeds in any LFS? It is too cold to go netting now. The reason why I'm asking this is because my science teacher wants to get some. We have a pond at our school with bluegills in it, but again, it is too cold for netting.
