I want to know your EBAY stories good and bad.. Also, what steps you took or attempted to do to remedy the problem as a buyer or seller..

I will go first..

I sold and Item on Ebay that is valued at 500 and a buyer from Egypt purchased it. I had no international in my ad and in the Ebay settings. This person is shipping to New Jersey and then who knows.. Also, this person only has two positive feedbacks. I already received the payment via payapl. Something inside my stomach makes me think its a scam. Paypal says I am protected.. I have doubts.. Something seems fishy.. ... What do I do ???
Do I ship it
Or do I not
What can I do??

PayPal might say your protected but as a Seller ebay can and will refund the buyers money for just about any reason. I sell on ebay for a living and I do not offer any international shipping, there is just to much to go wrong.
 
I have never sold on ebay, but purchased several things, mainly for my car. Never had a problem. One part came from Indonesia!
 
Hi I'm a buyer only and i don't live in USA im from Dominican Republic and I use a courier company to shipping on Fl Doral and they ship my purchase to my in one day air cargo, check the address of your buyer and if is a courier company u should be fine y have more than 200 items buy that way

Ive purchased a lot of fishing stuff on ebay. I was selling convicts once and some guy did the buy it now. He then about a week or two later said he didnt want them anymore and wanted a refund. I gave him a full refund. I was then later charged a $2 sellers fee. I used a prepaid visa on all this as Im underage and cant have a real credit card. I had like $1.75 on the card and it was denied. I just ignored it and didnt want to have to waste another $5 to activate another one. About a week or two later I go on my ebay and its suspended. I then used my moms credit card to pay for the fee. I log back in and then all of my won auctions are gone. I had about 5 different aquarium plants that I won and I was waiting on the weather to get better to ship. All traces of the purchases were gone and I contacted the sellers from checking the credit cards history and they never replied. I wont use ebay for a long time after this terrible experience.
 
As you can see.. Ebay is pro buyer, they honestly don't care about the sellers. Case in point, sellers can not leave negative comments on buyers.
