EBJD AT PETSMART!!! WHA??

My brother bought a couple of the PetSmary EBJD's a few weeks ago and they are doing fine.

What kinds of deformities have you come across with EBJDs? I just want to be able to know what to look for... My two EBJDs are still on the small side at 3" but healthy so far.

beak-face and sunken eyes are two of the more common issues ... do a little searching on MFK or on Google, you'll find plenty of examples ...

which is not to say that all or even most EBJD will have any issues, only that they have a reputation of being at higher risk ...

EBJD are way way over the uncommon stage. There everywhere now. A EBJD over $10 now is a rip. Love the fish though till they get older then there all messed up lookin

yes but only if u get a low quality one then it wil look not to good when its bigger....
And pet smart EBJD are bad if they keep dying.....

The true question should be who is the supplier to Petsmart? They may are a large business that I'm sure has a minimum order quota for a supplier too - so if every Petsmart only ordered one EBJD that would still be a large order, which means a large breeder to supply them. Mine was doing fine as well until he suddenly died overnight, from how he looked dead it looked like a case of bloat possibly. He never showed signs of internal parasites.
