  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Great write up

It's funny how someone can say in there own sticky that the minimum tank size for a silver aro is 6x3x2 but keeps one in a 6x2x2:screwy:

Thanks for the info. this is really useful. I am setting up a 450 gallon tank. It is still going to be a while before i get the thing up and running.

So what you are saying, is that from his expierence of owning a large aro in such tank, that he shouldn't recommend a larger tank size others? The author has always admitted that the tank is not ideal, and has always advised people to get a larger tank that is better suited.

If he knows the his tank is not ideal why doesn't he just sell the fish to someone who has an ideal tank...

A 28" silver aro in a 180g is not a critical sitsuation:screwy: Why are you even concerned with this:confused:

The aro is like 5 years old and should be alot bigger than that, id say its a critical situation it's equivalent to an oscar in a 29gallon. Im concerned because he knows his tank is too small but doesn't do anything about.

Your right, so lets put the silver under and delete this entire thread. Would love to debate this more with ya but this not the place. You may want to reseach the growth rates of silver aros a little more though.

Great Post Delgado! You summed it all up pretty well. I wish I would have joined these forums earlier. Took me months of research before I felt I was ready to get an Arowana. This would have given me a good head start. Keep up with the good work!
