nice looking flowerhorn. i doubt the soda bicarbonate will greatly affect kok. you might want to try on smaller/younge4 specimens, might have more of an effect on growth. hopefully no serious side effects. imo i wouldnt chance it.

It's best to put some in some panty hose and put it directly in the filter, or you can mix it into the gravel.
