Eheim 2075 Leaking.....

Came home to a huge puddle around the base of my 70G. My Eheim 2073 (G90) was leaking. For what this thing cost me, I'm not too happy about it. I bought it about 1.5 years ago. My XP3's never had any problems and I had them up and running for twice as long. Thank God I moved the tank into the garage a few months ago. If it had ruined my newly refinished hardwood floors, Eheim would be paying to have them redone.
Just in case anyone else comes across this thread, the filters have a 3 year warranty. It appears to be a known issue: http://www.eheim.com/faqs/faqQuestionAnswer/8
Contact eheim and have them send you a replacement pump head. Although it took a while, I was able to have them send me one.

I have fixed the leak on my Eheim! The clips that hold the lid down tight are made from easily bent metal. It seems I bent mine when I removed the lid for cleaning. This meant there wasn't enough downward pressure on the lid and there was always a small drip leak. I bent the clips so they are harder to get off and the problem was solved. Maybe this will help someone else too.
