eheim 2080 Help

no matter what i try nothing is working-- i cant get it to stay on for more than 2 secs-- i am priming like hell when it is on-- shutting it off and priming like hell all over again-- i am at a dead end and i am gonna have a broken filter very soon if this keeps up

are all the media baskets filled correctly and properly seated? what are you using for media?
 
the eheim media-- bottom tray effimech, next 2 layers subs, then the white layer, then the green plastic piece , then the blue pad--i gather they are filled correctly-- i didnt over-stuff them and the trays appeared to seat pretty good when i first installed them--
 
when you say check to make sure they are tight-- i looked and the hose is all the way on with the screw locked all the way down on the hose

did you use the o rings on all the connections on the intake/ outake pieces
 
yes-- i think i might have found the problem-- when i am priming i am noticing on 1 intake that a air bubble is coming out the top of the pipe-- could that be my air problem right there
 
is it where the screw cap is? I had a problem once where it got lose and leaked. IMO too many connections on the intake/ outtakes. sounds like your losing your seal somewhere like you said.
