I now understand what you are saying, you have 2 brackets/rails rather than a single pump plate that has integral tabs.

Here you go guys. Also the 2260 and 2262 share the same canister so there is no problem upgrading sorry for the darkish pics, my phone blows.

I hhave 2250 and am referring to changing pump for 2260 pump. My canister is shorter than 2260 and 62

And I see the pvc work. I'm not crazy about it but I will keep that in mind. As of now the pump sits on the eheim sideways and clears my tank fine. Id be worried about my pvc connecting skills to leak

pjsammut, could you post the fitting sizes you used to connect the PVC adapter to the Eheim fittings.

As far as I'm aware, Eheim's fittings threads are NOT tapered pipe thread. They use a G-thread with o-rings which is not available easily in the U.S.

Mine came with the tank, I intend on upgrading the pump down the track..

Came by on a decent price on my 2250. The guy selling it to me "thought" it was a 2260. In the end 2260/62 wouldn't have fit.

i also saw a mod where the pump was mounted blowing into the canister at the bottom. Not a fan of this though as lid seal failure then results in leaks rather than aeration!
