why not get the new pro3?

'Cause Pro 3 sucks. This comes from an Eheim guy for three decades!

2260 is a solid filter, but I'd upgrade to 2262 for the additional flow.

I have to redo my filter I put filter floss in it ...it has to come out its slowing flow a little and it's only been 3months

I have two of these filters and they are tanks. Love mine and would highly recommend them. Cleaning it a bit of a pain without quick disconnects but they can be made if it's a big deal.

Mine is old school I can't see paying almost $100 for quick connects I just plop everything into another 5 gal bucket and go to laundry sink

I got the 2080 media kit kit for cheap but I topped it off with filter floss ...not a good idea for a long term ....

Right now I have
4l mech
8 l substrate pro
And the 2 pads that came with the 2080 media kit and filter floss ...poly fill stuff but the flow reduced alot ....should I pull it and redo ?
