There's also parts online for it.. so maybe theres still hope for the filter...

Before I clicked on this I thought it was your Pro 3 that died. Wow....19 years life is amazing for anything involving mechanical parts. I do have a few questions I have to ask, what did you replace in this filter throughout the 19 years? How did it died?

I remembered I bought in a 15yrs Emperor to Petsmart to test fit media cartridge and they laughed at me harder because the manager remembered how old it was. I said it runs strong and his reply was they don't make them like they used to.

I am so sorry for your loss. Your 2211 had a long and fulfilling run with your fish family so I know you are saddened by its passing.

What was the final cause of death? Power surge or lightning strike?
