YOUR METHOD'S WRONG! 
On a serious note, Wolf's method works very well also. Same idea as mine, different approach, different filters. Both work well, which is better? IMO mine, in Wolf's opinion his, and in Joe Schmoe's opinion neither. Both Wolf and I like to have a filter designated for mechanical filtration, thus removing floaters, and keeping the water crystal clear. Then, having a second filter used for biological filtration to keep the tank cycled.

Great thread! Full of alot of great info! Im also doin research trying to find what filters I wanna go with for my 150gal. Reading these 4 pages helped me alot!
