As a complete novice, assembling the 2262 was very challenging, but once assembled and with media inside, I just turned on the power and it worked like a charm!!!
I have to say, don't put three cups of duck weed and 35 pieces of Anarcharis in a 125 gallon tank. It gets stuck like there's no tomorrow at the intake strainer, and the gph starts to slow, noticeably. My turtles ate 98% of the Anarcharis, but not much of the duckweed. I'm mentally preparing myself to opening up the canister for the first time this weekend, not quite two months in. I can tell the gph is still slower, because it sounds like rushing water instead of Niagara Falls. Turtles are now getting green leaf lettuce and Romaine. I'm hoping it's just a matter of turning off the power, locking the quick release in and output hoses, and then dragging it to the tub and rinsing the mech stuff with aquarium water.
