Fairly sure I got it so here is a pic since I have to get up early tomorrow and can't wait up much longer,

well it's certainly a carcharhinid.

But the angle of the photo makes it a bit difficult to tell for certain.

looks like and oceanic species - but hard to be certain.

Here is a clue: its common in Hawaii

Ill take a stab at it. Galapagos Shark- C. galapagensis

Nope but your fairly close. It is a carcharhinid. I'll give you another hint:
Carcharhinus P_ _ _ _ _ _ _
