I 'm not really sure - what the brown thing is. I just thought it was possible some form of macro-algea.

But - glad to see someone "finally" get it right.

Good guess but this species is located further south on the west coast and is not a member of Scyliorhinus genus like the Boa cat. Its genus name does however start with an S which does not include many members. Its common name starts with an R.

The scientific name is Schroederichthys chilensis by the way.
