Elasmobranch ID game

Ok in light of recent pictures should we say that the picture to ID has to be of a live specimen? Just a thought.

Isn't that sort of the same as posting a pic of a dog that just got stabbed on a dog forum. If this was a forum for anglers I would understand but I think most members here have greater respect for the oceans and a live pic would be more appropriate if available. sorry, just my opinion
