? oh ok, that makes sense now lol. Pop eye is usually a symptom of something going on. If it's going away on it's own just try to keep the water clean, maybe do some extra water changes. Ebjd are so sensitive. It took me I think 3 tries to get one that survived past the 4" mark.
I just dont get it. Water stats are perfect. He has a 6 Foot tank to himself with 12 platys... so no fighting or overcrowding.
Health wise, he's greedy with food with a fat belly and thoroughly enjoys actively patrolling he's large rock territory all day. He's even grown from 2" to 4" in 3 months so good growth rate. Nice solid colour and fins etc...
Just this bloody pop eye appearing once a month. Only ever in 1 eye at a time!
Will be watching with interest!
This is my guy had for 6 months with a slow steady growth rate and heathy appetite..
previously have had 4 or 5 of these is the past with nothing but ongoing health issues and lack of growth... they are a very finicky fish. But well worth the reward when you get 1 a bit more robust.?❤

He's grown a whole inch in the last month and really bulked out. Colours are as great as ever and I honestly think he is going to be a real beast. Doubled in size in 3 months! I've enjoyed looking at the previous 3 month's photos which really show how much he has developed.

This was my ebjd years ago. I was able to breed him and get ebjds but had to sell due to move. He was bred few more times but last I heard the female killed him.
