Here's the fry i'm growing out. Took awhile to upload, because i was working in the garden. Used the worms i found as fish food. I know some use sponge filters of a different type and trust me this works for me just fine. Cleans the waste better and weed out the weak ones fast ;).

Quick update! The small fry are doing really good and growing fast. The female B/G gene paired up with one of my B/G growouts and laid eggs today while i was at work. The funny thing is he's only a little bigger then half her size. Who would've known. Will post pic when i get a chance. Damn critters outside killing off my sunflowers. The Electric female is digging pits in the substrate and her tube is down so we will see if there's a possibility with the Blue Gene male gold i have in there with her. So far she's standing her ground.

This is the B/G Gene breeding pair. Hope you can measure them up in the pics, as he is way smaller then the female. Yet! they breed, he's super aggressive and also killed the other colorful male i had in a previous photo in this thread.

Two days later on the other side of the tank the Electric female laid eggs on a stone. The problem is, she chases the G/B Gene male often. Sometimes their cool, but he isn't a rough one yet. I think she laid eggs, because the female on the other side of the divide connected with her mate. As you can see she laid the eggs right by the divider. Anyway a lot of the eggs aren't fertile. Would love to see those too pair up.

Just wondering if anyone had a dempsey come out with wild color stripes and white body? If so do it color up with time. This little guy stays this way since he was way smaller. I keep him with the electric and platinum fry. His other siblings are very dark i have them separated. Without further ado! Here he is.

Will be posting pic's soon as i get a chance to, of the B/G gene pair fry. Doing fine eating hatched brine. Like i mentioned before the Electric and the Gold blue gene eggs didn't hatch. I know he didn't fertilize them as she chases him away a lot. I expect that to change once he gets around her size.
