Was looking for other cichlids mostly but I'll take anything into consideration. Was thinking only the one electric blue though

some red spot severum would make a nice contrast with the ebjd. or some nice blue acara maybe.

not at all. I had a male dempsey in a 125 with a trio of blue acara for years. Jacks generally stay to themselves ime. Granted i havnt owned an electric blue, just several commons. Only way i think you would have problems is if you had just one of each.
