Its only 18" right now, so i was either gonna put IT in the 55gal for a few months, or put my pikes in the 55gal. and put it in the 75gal till it out grew it. I'm lookin for a lotta tankz actually. BUT I've gotta 300gal thats empty right now.... Can you keep them as pairs/groups or are they too territorial.

Alex, DON'T ENCOURAGE HER!! HAHA!! She was askin me if she could keep it in her 30gal last night....shes going down the FH path and I can't stop her...

you can keep two together they will not argue as long as they are around the same size and are not crowded i would say minimum of 600 gallon for two but i would go bigger if you want two of these try and indoor pond its the way to go

does not feel good but is bearable from smaller E eels big ones will make your arm tingle for awhile afterwards ouch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

600gal? Hmm......you contradict what everyone else has been saying. Most peeps tell me that they aren't very active and that they could live for life in a 125gal. Personally, i was rather confused how a 6' fish could live in a 125gal. for life...haha. 600gal is pushing my limit though, especially for just two fish. I can do a 300gal dedicated tank, but 600...oy.
