600gal? Hmm......you contradict what everyone else has been saying. Most peeps tell me that they aren't very active and that they could live for life in a 125gal. Personally, i was rather confused how a 6' fish could live in a 125gal. for life...haha. 600gal is pushing my limit though, especially for just two fish. I can do a 300gal dedicated tank, but 600...oy.

Electric eels can get to 8' long anybody who says a 125 is big enough for life is cruel because that is way to small im 6'4" and i wouldnt want to be kept in a 5' box

People say a 125 can house a E.Eeel for life because the fish is extremely inactive. In the wild it just finds a spot to rest and waits for food.

sorry but a fish that can grow 8' long does not deserve to live in a tank 6' long this is inhumane and they dont always lay around they move you know so what do they do just move up and down??? yeah right think about it 125 not big enough

Don't get me wrong I totally agree with you. Although, I don't feel they need as much space as a normal 8' fish however.

i agree with that but my minimum tank standards are way bigger than most peoples i would say you need atleast a 10x4 footprint to comfortably house one of these beasts
