Just to note guys/gals. Emerald Creek Garnet from Idaho is widely available. It's actually a Canadian Company in Ontario who is selling this particular garnet (Opti Mineral Co.) The raw products are mined in Idaho. Barton red garnet is mined in India. This is the same stuff name 'Idaho Purple' on Ebay and amazon that are inflated per lb. prices.
Are you sure about this ? The barton 30/40 was the same 30/40 from they garnet guy i was getting it from and he specifically told me their were various mines in idaho the different grains sizes come from different mines in idaho not india
