Emergency please help to cure a sick flowerhorn

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Wow poor lil fh. Im sure the size of the tank is the root of his problem.(if thats what he lives in) I really dont think you can fix him. Im no expert but I would suggest gettin the fh a larger volume of water to work with. WHats the water parameters? After nuking the tank the bb may have died off as well. I would stop treating him untill he has a larger home. Clean water with many waterchanges will do alot for your fish.

6 inches seems a lil small for a fh of that age. I wish you good luck.

when i purchase he was around 3 inch now he is around 7" and one year old he is living in this tank for past 4 months he was not affected with this type of disease before black dot patches are visible on his fins

Not to nit pick, but just yesterday you stated:
i am having a FH of one year old he is around 6" now

So this fish has gone from 3", to 6", over the course of a year. And this is after he was upgraded to a 50 liter (13 gallon) tank 4 months ago. Nice.

This is a classic example of what can happen to a fish when kept in less than ideal conditions. (a sick stunted fish)

Good luck

hey RD this is my first FH i really dont know how much big he will grow he grown broder of around 3" i am living in a small room i cant keep a big tank there pls help me to cure him afer curing him i will sell him

I told you what your best course of action was in my initial comment.

The best thing that you can do for that fish is to get him into a stable environment, keep his water quality pristine, and stop throwing random medicated cocktails at him.

stop giving any more medicines..it vil only make matters worse..change the water so that it is liveable in but not totally as it can cause more stress..theres nothing much other than this that u can do..most of all hav patience..observe the fish for a couple of days.he might still make it
