Thanks again, I'll take what I've learned from you and move forward from here!Do not feel bad. We have all killed fish one way or another. Unfortunately I've killed my big share too. I started keeping them as a kid when I knew nothing and there was no internet or even easily accessible books at the time. Poor fish, it haunts my memory.....
Yeah my fish are used to 40% or so every week. I'm going to do some daily small water changes and steadily increase it. Thank you!!This is why I do 90% water changes. If somethings is wrong with my tank two of my water changes are usually enough to correct the problem and save the fish.
But don't do a drastic water change if the fish aren't used to it, I've seen many people kill fish this way. Just start to increase the amount of water you actually change weekly and they'll easily adapt. So if you do 20% water changes a week bump it up to 30% the next then 40% the week after that and they should be fine.
But make sure that the water you put back in is the same temp and your golden. And don;t feel too bad! We've all killed our share of fish haha.

I've been thinking about switching to prime lately. I've heard its also more economical. And my water supplier uses chlorine.I would switch to Prime, just to be on the safe side. Is your water supplier using chlorine or chloramine?
