pure sarcasm.... everybody is mentioning chillers.... water change is the quickest most simple way to lower it... my old tank ran 90-95 in summer everyday for a month... water changes and a fan blowing on my sump is all i did..

I see:D Sorry I did not pick up on the sarcasm, since water changes had already been mentioned as a temp reducing method. I figured you had a valid reason for the reply.

Get a circulator fan and aim the air behind the tank partially hitting the wall, bouncing the air off the wall on to the back of the tank. Air movement is the key as long as your place isn't 90*. Even a warm room with air circulating will drop the temp in the tank.
BTW what is your room temperature?

Cheers,

A/C Dood

I have a PERFECT solution for you. I use this method all through summer. I turn my A/C on in my house to about 75f. Keep the temperature in the tank perfect, and keeps me from sweating in the house. Granted your electricity bill will go up yes, but chillers intial cost is not cheap either and they also take alot of energy.

The arowanas should be fine in that heat as long as you don't keep it like that for more than a few days.
