Thanks. I already followed all those procedures carefully and made sure to disturb him as little as possible. I also made sure not to overdo it with the salt. Now it's just wait and see. I'm going to keep a close eye on him. I'll be periodically checking water levels and most definitely stay on top of the salt treatment. I wanted to ask though, why the rise in temp.? The water is currently at 82 degrees. That seems about fine to me but do you suggest otherwise?

Thanks man. Yes, the biggest step was getting them separated. If I would have known that was going to occur, I would have never placed him in there. The Gar is always pretty peaceful and doesn't like to mess with his tank mates. I never thought that he would have struck at the TSN. Well, I'm doing everything I can to help him and hopefully he makes it out alright. I'll keep you guys updated.
