lol your picture skills are better than mine. Either way use Bacopa . I like close to everyone in Miami who has fish took some from canals lol and it grows like a weed.

It grows submerged but will also grow up to 2 feet out of the water if you allow it to.

For your purpose it might be what your looking for.

I wouldnt use duckweed because Bombina seem to actually hate it and wipe it off their face when they emerge .
For your background with fishing string you could attach air ferns.

As is I would think your Bombina if you have both sexes will lay eggs. My brother in law has them in his yard (Florida) and easy to spawn if both sexes.

Well, i hope they do lay eggs that would be awsome.

I need to get a different pump for it though. I bought a azoo 1200 and i thought it would be able to be inline because they said For use in and out of the water.... They meant as it says on the paperwork emmersed and immersed.

So I need a good small pump or powerhead for it thats inline or will fit in the water area somewhat any suggestiongs.

And that bacopa looks sweet. Wish I lived in florida so I could pick some up easy. NObody around kansas has any aquarium plants!
