EMPEROR 400 - BAD START

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It is not usual for parts to be missing from a NEW filter so hopefully you will receive the parts you are missing. Is it possible they fell out when you were removing the filter from the box?

Just a quick question for you regarding voltage. I thought Australia uses 240V 50 Hertz for household power supply. What do you plan to do for the U.S. conversion from 110V 60 Hertz?

I will be needing a voltage converter :P. That should do it? Also, they company has shipped out two brand new 400's due to the bearings missing on the previous ones :D !

yep much cheaper. i got both emperor 400s for $151 with shipping! in aus they are not available...here its mostly aqua one stuff that are over priced. also... fluvals are around $300+ ...i knew i would need high filtration for two oscars in my 60 gallon...so i chose emperor...price was better than fluval and two 400s would most likely clean better than one cannister.

I have never heard of anyone complain about missing parts on an Emperor filter before. When I bought my Emperor 400 about 10 years ago it came with all its parts. It ran great for a long .
10 yrs ago is a long time. Marineland got bought out by another company. Ever since their quality control went down. My buddy receive a brand new crack filter. They are great filter when it works. My emp is over 10 yrs old and still works good.
