Cory cats are always a good cleant up crew. Maybe some bristlenose plecos or otocinclus for algae.

Try an African Oddball set up It was probably one of the more fun tanks I had. 12 Congo Tetras, 3 Ctenopoma, an African Brown Knife, and an Albino Senegal.
