empty 55 gallon needs ideas for schooling fish..

I have a 55 gal. tank ready to go.. i'd like to get a good size group of schooling fish.. what are some idea's and how many? thanks..

I agree, planted tanks are my thing. I am partial to my tank, I go for the non aggressive schooling species. Corys on bottom cleanup, cherry barbs are gorgeous and school well. Zebra danios, neon tetras and cardinal tetras. I like the smaller fish, you can have more of them and they look great in a school.

Barbs work great but can be aggressive. Neons are fun to wacth. Dantos can come in a wide rande if colors and can be also called glo fish.

HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A SCHOOL OF RED BELLIES CIRCLING A TANK,AWSOME,YOU CAN HAVE SEVERAL TOGETHER IN A 55GAL,WHAT KIND OF FISH IS JUST A PERSONAL PREFFERANCE!!!
