Empty 650. Hmmmm...what to do?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Peacocks, black arrow and a few rays ... That would be a great tank ... Oh wait a second, my jardini killed my 3 paecocks and my ray. Back to the drawing board

I like african theme and seen way too many african cichlid tanks. My idea is mixing african perch. There are quite different variants and different species of atf. I'm sure you can add catfish or just leave it as a fast swimming tank. You don't see many massive atf school especially a mix of different atf.

Man, I would love to have some SA aros and PBs. Unfortunately, They're illegal in MS, also.

10,000 neons? Sounds cool. I wonder how they'd handle the suction from the 3000gph filter?

The large cats was considered. But, I think I want to go with some more active species this time. I'm thinkin' dats, Siniperca, and a couple of dozen large clown loaches for the bottom.

No polys for this tank. I already have an 8ft x 4ft lower jaw poly tank, a 6ft x 3ft upper jaw poly tank, and a stock 125 poly grow-out tank.

large clown loaches

:) :woot: :headbang2

please pm me if you find a seller who can ship!

Alas, sadly, ATFs are on the "NO" list in MS. I have several strains of fronts and tropheus in the 360, 285, 150, and 120 gals. Also have smaller species in 55s and 20s.

Wish I have that much space. I am currently trying to breed Siniperca Chuatsi in a 330, but they are not in the breeding age yet. Dats are cool, but I like the scientific findings of breeding fish that has not been bred in captivity, except Datniodes. Maybe Ivan can do that since he has almost all the Dats in the US :lol2: If I have that much space, I would breed the Coreoperca Whiteheadis' that you have :) But it seems, they would be hard to put together since they try to make the smaller one disappear. Good luck on whatever you decide :)
