when you say raise, you mean like, to grow them out right? a 40 breeder is good for 1 beardie for its life, according to Reptiles magazine. why not get some sort of rarer, more unusual agamid? get a colony of dwarf toad headed agamas. i use to have some. they were really interesting

ya i meant grow them out. im thinking about it and beardies came to mind. there active and curiuos.

yeah i would do some smaller lizards that you could keep a group.Fire skinks or something.Do a little desert landscape thing.I see those sandfish for sale,not sure if they hide all the time.

Sandfish hide. I always worry about keeping groups together, though usually if you only have 1 male and don't crowd you're OK. Pair of crevice spiny lizards (if you can find them) would be cool with some rockwork etc to climb around on. The only sceloporus I see for sale with any regularity though are pink bellies and emerald swifts. There's also uromastyx or collared lizards.

i think they have real high heat requirements,might be hard to heat up one side without overheating the entire tank.Im not sure.
