Well, one of my new 6" chad endlicheris died.
I performed an autopsy just for the hell of it.

Cause of death- choked on gravel. I emptied his throat of this. I noticed this guy ate especially ravenous, i guess he couldn't dislodge the gravel.

Well, I hate to be a partypooper, but fish cannot "choke" on things.

THey dont have a trachia in which air passes through. Gravel should not have killed the fish, You will find small rocks/sticks in most wild fish as it is.

Did you do any work with a scope?

i didn't know bichirs have that kind of teeth..

Sorry Neal but I have to disagree. I knew someone that had a huge dovii that tried to chase and eat a live crayfish. it ended up missing it and having a mouth/throat full of large pebbles. Fish chocked and died.
