What is a gram-negative bacterial infection? What should I do to treat it if it is?

Edit- After checking google, I think that it might be. I just don't understand where it came from. Params are perfect, no aggression.

I found that I should use this: "Treat with Nitrofuracin Green to expedite healingb). Treat with Gentamycin" --> I copied this from a website.

Should I put him in a hospital tank? Which product should I use?

Thanks. If it isn't a gram-negative bacterial infection, will the maracyn 2 harm it?

Why is the other endi unaffected? (They eat the same food, mainly tilapia and sinking pellets)

Thanks for your help. I'll do some extra water changes in the tank to make sure the other doesn't get it and separate this guy. Hopefully he/she will make a full recovery.

Can't chime in with a health solution, but I can help with the blurry pics. Most digital cameras have a "macro" setting that allows you to take the shot from a close range. On most cameras the macro setting looks like a yellow tulip.
(I could only find a black one on google. But the image is the same.)

I'm thinking of giving it a bath in the marycn 2, then bumping up the temp and adding the salt, instead of setting up a whole new tank. I'll give him the bath for 10 minutes in 2 gallons of water, using the recommended amount.
Do you think this will work/is better?
