Thanks! This particular background is called the "selvas" and was $174.99. IMO cheaper than what other companies charge for a 60" background. I didn't pay for shipping though since I'm local and picked up my backgrounds. Here is their background page: http://www.designsbynature.net/products-page/deluxe-3d-bgs/

Thanks Hugh! No fish going in until this weekend. It's going to be a holding tank while I install the background in the 300g. When the 300 gallon is done, I will move the fish that this tank was built for in. Not sure how long that will take TBH, lots of work left. :nilly: I still need to build a stand that the wife will "approve" of lol...

Beautiful and great attention to detail. Makes me wish I had purchased one similar to yours as opposed to making mine.

Thanks bro. Never too late if you end up not happy with yours. You got updates on yours? I'll pop ofver and take a look.

VERY VERY clean looking! I'm liking that a lot, and can't wait to see water and fish in front of it...

I'm not sure I could ever shell out $175 for a background, even one as cool as that. Maybe....

This project is very inspirational. Thanks for the thread. I'm sure you started started something here where soon you will see more of us with 3d backgrounds.

After this is all set up and running for a few months. Can you post the pro's and con's of the back ground?

I am sure there is not much cons but hows cleaning it with algea etc..... I was curious how it would look in a few months even years down the line. Is it easy to clean?

Looks great.
