Epic Overhaul/Builds: 3D Backgrounds 300g-125g-120g

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks bro!! The 120 doesn't look very good because I moved the wood plants and fish over just to get it going. I still need to scape it.. I need new bulbs for my coralife T5's and then I can rip off the shop light but whatever its running :headbang2

I am doing an all nighter tonight to finish the 300. This tank has to be wet Monday, I am shipping 10 fish Monday and need this tank up and running. Anyone have any odeas for DIY vines??? Like jungle vines?

I thought you didn't ship fish... Liar!

Those tanks look amazing. Just awesome. I want to model my 120 after that almost exactly.

LOL! MFK member "Pug" is walking me through it, its my first time. I sold all 10 g. abalios, the uaru pair, the rotkeil trio and bought a pair of dicrossus m. and some more of my favorite corydora.

I can't wait until I can load pics. Don't model anything just yet I have lots of scaping to do this weekend, you should see what $200+ in artificial driftwood, 250 lbs of lapis lustre sand and 300 lbs of river rocks can do for a 300 gallon ;)

Wow... great job with your tanks. The 300 is looking sick.. that's going to be amazing once it's done... simply awesome man.

Thanks bro..!! :headbang2: My fav is still the 120 gallon though. I have a house plant on top of that tank with roots submerged that is over 5' long!! I decided not to do a 3D BG in the 125 gallon. Its going to be my holding/experiment/fry tank in the garage. I have 180 lbs of Malaysian driftwood in that tank.. Got tea lol??? :D

Justin, those tanks are looking amazing. I had to do a double take at the 300g. It does look dark and sinister.... it's going to be stunning!!!

Great job!

Thanks guys! Its coming along great. Question: does anyone have any good ideas on how to dry sand????? I am adding black silicone on the bottom and covering it in sand. I need the sand dry correct??

You can bake it in small amounts.
