I don't think you'll fit in there too, ACWO. JK47's tank would be definitely overcrowded then!:ROFL::ROFL:

Haha, I hope you're joking. I think JK47 has the most understocked big tank on MFK. He could probably throw all the fish in all his tanks in his 300 and not be overstocked.

The 300g looks great, Justin! Those fish look so happy. I'm really impressed with the faux driftwood from DBN. I think it fits into those spaces in front of the overflows just perfectly. :)

It looks so good in person you seriously don't even notice the overflows are there.

I have to agree. Those are mainly for the redlip pair to feel secure behind. They like a calm place to hang out. I still need to figure out the vines. Between my kids bdays and the holidays I have had zero time for aquascaping. :(

Thanks clockwork. Understoked is a relief bro. Overstoking takes away something I enjoy about the hobby. I just had a tank test 0 ppm for nitrates before a water change (bring your test kit next time your over ;) ). That's a good feeling..

ACWO: you were the one who said 300 +1. So I figured you were the +1. That's why I said, if you were to be put into the 300 gallon, the tank would be definitely overstocked. And yes Jeff, I was just was just joking. I still find it really humorous though, come to think of it!:ROFL::ROFL:

Did you shake the nitrate bottle 2? ;)

I shook it like that horrible comercial for the "shake weight" :yuck: lol... Seriosly bring your kit over next time. I missed this weekends WC so I tested the 10g and 120g. The 120g was 30ppm but the 10 is 0ppm. The 120g also had 0.25 ammonia :( I pulled out the sponge filter to move to the 125 gallon and added the two s. maps. so I have a mini-cycle.

Have you seen the South Park with the shake weight? OMFG YOU HAVE TO!

.25 ammonia? That's so low I wouldn't even worry about it... if it stays that low. :naughty:

And sounds like a job for seachem stability... shouldn't Seachem be sending us free stuff by now for how hard we pimp out stability? You especially...

WOW, just WOW, Looking at your tank and comparing it to mine, I can really see the difference between a professional and an amatuar fish keeper. Can't wait to grad and start earning $ to quench my thirst for a monster tank like yours. Only a few more years to go!

I keep trying to convince him to start up a part time business with me for setting up and maintaining tanks for people locally, but he refuses. :grinno: I think with all his knowledge of cichlids, tank setups, and DIY skillz, and my knowledge of disease treatment, live plants, and aquascaping, we'd be a pretty killer team.
