Equatorial Festae? and other rare fish

I’ve had Festae for years and color depending on a lot of things mostly dominance and the presence of the opposite sex.
I’ve seen my Festae showing color very small around two inches maybe a little smaller you can see the red start to show up on fins and see some spangles.

I suspect that this is what happened, that, and an exporter or vendor somewhere fed him some misinformation. Bioaquatix has been around for years, I don't believe this was calculated at all.

True, I've checked them out a few times over the years. There's been times if they'd had what I wanted I would have ordered from them, considering I've seen good reviews of those guys.

Out of curiosity I checked what they have available and at this point he's not selling them, anyway. So not like he's scamming something just to make a buck.

I'm not buying the mini festae but would love to be proven wrong. If its legit, natural and healthy then I would get some because I like festae just dont have the space for full grown adults.
